Created for cities, local or regional governments, watershed associations, non-profits and educational institutions, this collection of materials is designed to create awareness on water and trash flows and provide simple solutions for individuals to prevent and reduce land-based marine litter. Our goal is to share free materials with partners all over North America to build awareness and create meaningful change in their communities. Let’s spread the word that marine litter pollution–and solutions!– start at home.

For print usage, five posters were designed, each conveying a message to raise awareness about marine litter. Together, these posters weave a story about a piece of litter’s journey to the ocean.
For digital use, a variety of content was created for Facebook and Instagram, including cover photos, static posts, and stories. Share these across your social media accounts to amplify the campaign.
Feel free to co-brand the materials with your own logo.
Inside the toolkit, you can find a user manual. It covers everything from setup guidelines to suggested social media captions and provides instructions on how to effectively promote the campaign.
